One Day To Give As One: Join United Way of Southeast Louisiana and HandsOn New Orleans in GiveNOLA Day!

HandsOn New Orleans is participating in GiveNOLA Day on May 6th from midnight to midnight, a day of giving hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, when thousands of residents show their support for their favorite nonprofits. On that day only, every dollar donated will be increased with additional “lagniappe” dollars provided by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and their generous GiveNOLA Day sponsors.

HandsOn New Orleans is now the Volunteer Center of United Way. They connect every passion to its purpose by matching volunteers with 40+ non-profit organizations in the New Orleans metro region. Its three programs – Volunteer Engagement, Community Revitalization, and Disaster Management – support HandsOn’s mission to engage, empower, and transform our community through volunteer service.

As the start of this partnership, we need your help with three things:

1. Mark GiveNOLA Day on your calendar for May 6th and bookmark this informational link: www.givenola.org.

2. Please support United Way and HandsOn Volunteer Center by making a donation on Tuesday, May 6th. Individuals can make online donations to HandsOn New Orleans with a minimum of $10. All donations made on May 6th allows us the opportunity to earn lagniappe dollars, prizes, and awards.

3. Help us spread the word! Share with your friends all the great work United Way and HandsOn does and their participation in GiveNOLA Day.

We hope that you will join us on this day of giving!
